( zero stars. It doesnt deserve the one star at all ) This app use to be awesome but NOT anymore. Its useless and makes your images into garbage of art. This developer enjoys cashing in on your money with long overdue updates ( 2 years going on to 3 ) or no updates at all. We are no longer on iOS 6, 7, or 8 anymore. This developer should be ban from the App Store. Your integrity is LOST!.

But getting there can be confusing. I love what this app does but I am never quite sure what I did to do it. If the interface made more sense I would go 5 stars for sure. I would explain my problem but I dont exactly understand how I even do what I do to explain it. But if youre into experimentation and not sure exactly where you want to go this is a wonderful wonderful app

And Kris Collins for taking peoples money. Buyer beware what was once a cool app has been left for dead. I dont know why its still in the store? It doesnt work with the update! Dont waste your money!!!

It hasnt been updated and on iPhone 6 it crashes pretty often. Too bad, the FX are fantastic, so I still love this app even though its buggy. Really deserves some attention from the developers.

Love this app! Major problems with crashing before in iOS 8. But I have noticed if any of the decim8 settings under SETTINGS>DECIM8 are turned off the app will crash. (For myself I always had the camera and cellular data off but access to photo library on :: then the app would crash. With everything on, so far seems to work!)

What happened? Fortunately, my iPhone 6+ has not had most of the issues that many other users seem to be having. Prior reviews: BUT... Where is this "great update," that was promised OVER A YEAR ago... ... This developer has a bad record of waiting for (very) long periods of time before releasing an update that allows the user to forget how long they were waiting for said update (the current update Im referring to here was promised prior to the release of iOS 7??). It could be worse, but Id probably hesitate before investing in another one of their apps due to the "consistent inconsistencies..." Kind of bums me out, honestly!

This app is buggy as hell. Found it on product hunt and I was actually pretty excited about it. I have messed with it long enough. Crashes on me about every other time. Directions should be more clear. Update UX, fix bugs... And I might install again.

Buyer beware. I ignored the negative reviews bc I was excited to use an app that had unusual fx. Upon installing and opening it one time, it NO LONGER WORKS. Its a total RIP OFF. This fraudulent seller is hoping people wont call apple for the buck or two spent, thus making a fortune on all of us together. Other people have recently said the same, that the app will not open. It is the truth. I tried everything - deleting and re-loading, rebooting my phone, etc. Its a LEMON. Please DO NOT spend your money! Makes me angry I took a chance.

It would be nice to be able to blend the effect over the original 1-100% ( even nicer with additive etc. blending modes like photoshop, or to be able to "mask" the effected region. ) The random glitches are very glitchy! but ANY amount of slider control over their actual process would make it less "hit or miss". We like it, but could be better with updated controls. Also would like the "datamosh" H264 video glitch, which isnt really featured in any of these apps

Doesnt work on iPhone 5s version 8.4.1 -please fix!!! I just downloaded 9/9/15. It seems as though I might have wasted my money???

Either crashes or hangs on boot. Totally broke.

We should stop supporting neglected apps that hasnt been updated over 2 years. Been waiting patiently for the long overdue update to this app for over a year now but its very clear that Decim8 is dead!.

I can no longer access Decim8. What happened? I loved using this app to abstract my photos. I miss you 8.

I love this app, fascinating, full of surprises. The only app that makes me happy. I only wish for exif info.

This is over the top addictive and just right up my alley. I have logged more hours totally mangling art already just raw shape and color getting variations that after awhile become downright spooky! I love this app. It makes me late for work though=less sleep! A couple levels of UNDO would be awesome. Setting up simple animated GIFs using a cluster of stills would be SWEEET because once I get into variations on a glitched piece of art I see movement and - I DUNNO just spitballing here. Oh also, as others have said MORE effects or ability to heavily edit/create own effects? Dope app thank you very much.

My name is Zack Kollar (Google me) I used to use this app almost everyday. (Im a software developer) Ever since the update to iOS 8 its become sub-par. There seems to be some kind of memory wrapping bug that lets integers go over their predefined bounds. It seems to make filters turn black and long processes even longer. I will sign a non disclosure agreement to fix this bug as it seems its gone into new update hell. The photo loading bug is also annoying as hell. Please get in touch with me if you can.

I LOVE this app, but when i updated to ios9, it started crashing every time i opened it. So, for the past couple of weeks i havent been able to use it. Tried re-downloading and everything else i could think of to no avail. Help!? Otherwise this app rocks my face off

Love this app and all the cool digital effects it can layer. Happy to see it hasnt been forgotten!
